Deck Restoration

Before Restoration After Cleaning and Staining
Before After

Do you remember when you first built your deck or fence? Remember the excitement of having a rich wood to show to everyone? Has that initial excitement faded? Is your wood now gray and weathered looking? Does it have green streaks? If you answered yes to any of the questions above then you've probably wanted to do something about it for some time now, so stop waiting and call for an estimate. Restoring a deck or fence requires more than using a pressure washer. Used incorrectly, you can damage the wood further by getting into the fibers and furring the wood much easier than most people realize.

How do you go about cleaning wood safely and effectively? You do so with quality chemicals and LOW PRESSURE. To properly achieve this I use a four step method:

  1. I use a high grade stripper/cleaner to take away a failed stain or sealer and clean the surface effectively.
  2. Sanding/Defelting. With older wood, sometimes the cleaning process will leave a slight furry look. This requires an added process of sanding to bring your wood back to a new look and appeal.
  3. I then restore the PH balance in the wood and get it back to its natural color with a neutralizer/brightener. It is then that the wood is ready to be stained.
  4. I use a quality stain and sealer to bring back the beauty to your deck or fence.
It sounds simple, but if done incorrectly, it could damage your wood.

You should be proud of the way your wood looks. I can help you get that pride back and keep it. You spent your money on something that matters way too much to you to just let it slip away slowly, so get it looking the way you deserve now.
